The Irish fashion industry is in an “enormous crisis” with fashion brands struggling to find new business and new customers, a senior executive of a leading fashion retailer has said.

“It is like being in a sport, it is like an Olympic sport, but you have to be in the right place at the right time,” said Mark O’Connell, the head of fashion brand brand Fashions of Ireland.

“Fashion needs a bit of a renaissance, a bit more creativity, a lot more competition.

It is a bit like an Olympics.

The fashion industry has been in a crisis for a number of years. “

The industry is going through a renaissance right now.

“We need to be better in marketing, more efficient, better in communicating and that is where we are now.””

Fashions, which has a presence in a number a fashion stores across the country, has been hit hard by the decline of traditional retailers such as Macy’s and department stores.

It has struggled to maintain its leading position in the Irish fashion market and has been struggling to attract new customers.

In an interview with The Irish Sunday Times, Mr O’Connor said that Fashitions is struggling to keep pace with the new trends in the fashion industry and is being forced to take on new challenges.

“If you look at what’s going on in the world, the biggest challenge is with fashion, that is the biggest issue in our industry, the fashion is like it is a game, it’s like a sport but you can’t win it,” he said.

Mr O’Connell said that it was important for the fashion sector to be a global player and that it had to be “smart, strategic and ambitious”. “

So we need to make a long-term plan for ourselves.”

“I would say that the fashion, as an industry, is in a huge crisis.””

You need to think about how do you get the most out of your experience, and we have to do that,” he added.

The industry has also been hit by the rise of the online fashion market.

Fashives growth is now at a record high with the website alone estimated to have contributed more than €1 billion to the industry’s turnover.

In 2017, there were more than 7,600 fashion-related sites worldwide and in the US, the number of sites is up by about 300 per cent.

The Fashivity group is owned by Mr OConnell’s wife, Kerry, who was a key part of the group’s early growth.

In a recent interview, Mr Parnell said that the business was growing at a “fast pace”.

“We are seeing that fashion is becoming a very global industry, and I think it is only going to continue to grow,” he told The Irish Independent.

“But it is very challenging for us because we need a bit luck.”

In the US and the UK, we are seeing a very large number of online retailers who are looking to get their brand on to the internet, to be able to sell their clothing online.

“They have a large number, a very big number of brands that are struggling with that.

We have a very important customer base in the UK and the US.”

Fashives founder, Kerry Parnells fashion brand was the subject of a recent BBC documentary, where she described her early years working in the industry as a “lost year”.

In the interview, Ms Parnel said that her business was “on the edge of collapse” and that she and her husband were now struggling to stay afloat.

“We have been working really hard and the industry is on the edge, there is a lot going on, the financial crisis, the recession, and a lot is going on behind the scenes,” she said.
